Funding

Speakeasy must raise funding for running costs and projects independently through grants, events and donations.

We raise funds through a variety of methods such as: applications to grant making trusts; charitable trusts; public sector and private organisations; sponsored events; local awareness talks and various local events. Recently we are relying more and more on local fundraising and we need your help to raise funds to enable us to continue to provide high quality support and services for people with aphasia. Whether it's a sponsored marathon, parachute jump or a coffee morning, there are many ways to help raise funds. They can be fun and exciting to organise, and take part in and the fundraising team can help and support you along the way. If you have any specific fundraising ideas then please get in touch to discuss how we can help make it as easy and enjoyable as possible for you.
