Come from Manchester on the M60
towards Bury, then turn onto the M66 towards Bury and Burnley,
go past the Bury turn off and continue along the M66 till the
next junction signposted Ramsbottom.
Leave the M66 at the Ramsbottom turn off (junction 1). At the
end of the slip road there is a set of traffic lights onto the
A56, turn right and travel along the road for about 1/2 mile
until the next set of traffic lights.
Turn left, going down a steep hill and follow the road into
Ramsbottom. Cross the railway tracks and continue straight on
up the main street to the set of traffic lights at the top of
the road.
Turn right at the lights and immediately on the left you will
see a huge Greek-type urn which is situated in front of the
Grants Arms Hotel. Take your first turn left up the cobbled
street to the side of the Grants Arms. There is a car park directly
at the top of this road.
Speakeasy sessions are held in Ramsbottom Civic Hall. The entrance
is located on the hill adjacent to the Grants Arms Hotel. |
